The key is to un-learn the academic habit of treating every proposition and argument offered as needing to be taken seriously and requiring a refutation, if false.

The proposition that the dashcam was not working in the Danroy Henry case requires no refutation. It is ridiculous on its face.
The idea that something in a police department isn't working never strikes me as ridiculous.
