“So I killed someone,” Keith Phoenix, 28, told New York police detectives who found him hiding in the bathroom of a Yonkers apartment, the police said. “That makes me a bad guy?”

Sounds like he confessed.
“Asked whether Mr. Phoenix had expressed any remorse, he said, ‘None whatsoever'”
Don’t expect any. I’m not a psychologist, but I think ole’ Keith would probably score pretty high on the “psychopathy checklist.” Remorse in a court of law is overrated anyway, and just gives psychopathic offenders incentive to use their acting skills, which could further torment the victim’s family/friends.
